👍🏻 There’s something special about coming home. After two weeks in Europe, catching up with LPs, co-investors and old friends in Geneva, Gstaad, Paris and London, it felt good to land back in Mauritius. I loved the break, the conversations and the energy. But I was equally happy to return to my new home. Funny how quickly somewhere new can start feeling like where you belong. 🇲🇺
👎🏻 Sometimes complexity feels like a business model. One of my UK legal matters has turned into a maze of procedures, lawyers and billable hours. The more complicated the process becomes, the more everyone seems to have to charge to navigate it. I can’t help wondering how much of this complexity actually creates value. If there’s one industry I’d love to see AI seriously disrupt, it’s this one. ⚖️
✍🏻 AI is starting to feel like Hogwarts. Between Astra, Mistral and the relentless race to improve AI models, progress is accelerating. We’ve moved well beyond simple productivity gains. Increasingly, things that seemed impossible not long ago are becoming everyday tools. The interesting question is no longer just how much time AI can save us, but what it will allow us to do that we couldn’t do before. 🪄
