Resident rate: proof of residence

  1. You attach proof at checkout: Mauritian national ID card, residence permit, or a recent utility bill (electricity, water, internet) in your name in Mauritius.
  2. Automatic check: accepted document type, name matching the order, validity (bill less than 3 months old, permit still valid, legible document).
  3. Valid proof: the 9,000 MUR incl. VAT resident rate is confirmed immediately. Invalid proof: the public rate applies, with the option to submit a new document. Ambiguous cases (rare): a one-off check by Nexexo, the only manual step in the flow.
